Probably the best park for miles. A lot of work has been carried out recently to improve the appeal. There are raised beds for growing flowers, fruit and veg, and a group meets to show you how to start. A cafe has opened up too. Reminds me of when I was a youngster and the pavilion was there for drinks n lollies. It's also a great park for dog walkers, so many opportunities to socialise a new puppy. Read moreGreat park to have a wander round either with an animal companion or just alone, very peaceful and very clean. Bins all the way through for dog waste so it’s well kept after, the park has been newly renovated so it’s very good and fresh. There’s an outdoor amphitheater and a cafe with garden centre attached which are all great attractions to keep you busy when going. In the afternoon I tried yoga with a lively group of women and a great teacher followed by coffee and a chat. Lots of other things were organised and well attended.
