Grants Bar — Restaurant in Hyndburn

Arrived here for a works meal, where the food was already pre-ordered. Everyone had arrived and we weren't approached till almost 20mins later where a member of staff asked if they could start making our food. A further 20mins later food started to arrive. However they seemed to have missed one of the orders and had to wait another 15mins for this to arrive. They had claimed this was not on the pre-order. As you can only order via messenger we had confirmation the order had been accepted. The missing order arrived and was incorrect as the order was creamy garlic mushrooms and there was no cream. As you can imagine by this point there was no time to complain and eat what had put in front of me. All this and I believe we were the only table in on a early Monday evening. If this is what its like when its quiet. Then who knows what goes on...

Lovely little place this. It has a bar for if you just want to pop in for a drink or sit down and have a meal / bite to eat. The lady who served us was polite friendly and helpful. There wasn’t too long of a wait for food and once it came everything we had was exquisite. The mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. The BBQ bacon Jack Daniels burger was perfect I did opt for no salad to get a better taste of the burger combo. Very very pleased with it. No complaints with any of the food it’s all excellent. We booked our table for 8pm and arrived at 7.50pm.We were asked to sit outside and wait. We were left outside for 40mins as someone had walked in off the street and kindly sat at our table. We had been told by the waitress that our table would be ready by 8pm but obviously that didn't happen. We went inside to ask and the head waitress wasn't even told we had arrived! She was talking to our original waitress who had told her we were a no show!! I appreciate it's difficult at the moment but tbh I was shocked how the first waitress was oblivious to things going on.
