Not the best experience. Waiter seated us straight away. Waited 35mins to order food. Starters arrived after a further 30mins. Finished starter then was told by waiter the main course wasnt/was available?? Peshwari Chicken but the chef would sort it. Asked waiter if you don't have it how is it going to be sorted. He quoted "leave it with me". Meal arrived to be presented with chicken Korma when I questioned this he asked if I was sure??? My response was of course I'm sure. Waiter went to speak to chef ...chef confirmed it was chicken Korma. Not only was I served a meal to be told it was Korma but also questioned about it too. Waiter thought it was quite amusing??? Not at any point was I asked to order something else. Waiter requested that the Korma (peshwari chicken)to be taken off my bill. Manager came to apologise which was sincere. Was here as part of a group of around forty people in midweek, so, as you can imagine, not an easy number to manage. However, the staff coped with us very well. Service was only slightly slower than you would want but it was done generally with a smile. This is a restaurant were you BYOB and that is slightly disconcerting, especially with a group our size. The food that was served though, was all of good quality which is the main reason we eat at restaurants. The ambience also helped to make for an enjoyable evening. Nice Food - not so nice dining experience. Very busy restaurant which seems to give priority to takeaway orders. Phone constantly ringing & takeaway orders flying past our table while we sat for over an hour waiting for food. Sat right next to the door (cold draught every time anyone entered/left) - arrived at 6.30pm & still waiting for main course at 8pm - ordered soft drink, which was flat & no attention from staff once food arrived.
