A great pub with a large selection of cask ales and spirits but no food, the building is old but well appointed and has a great atmosphere, there is a large TV in a small games section and a lounge and pool room, the landlord is friendly but will not tolerate swearing or overly rowdy behavior and there is a total ban on hats/caps or hoods of any kind, no exceptions! as there is CCTV for customer safety, CAMRA members get a discount on beer if they show their card,well worth a visit.Update, this pub has now...

DONT NOT GO INTO THIS PUB. We where refused entry by a VERY rude landlady who explained that my daughter aged 15 was not allowed on the premises due to her age even though she was accompanied by 3 over 18’s. There were seats outside the pub and we where told we couldn’t sit there either due to her age!!! This is rubbish according to the law (see attachment) Inbred people who run pub only...
