I recently ordered from Star Pizza in Birstall and was genuinely impressed from start to finish.

Customer Service & Ordering The service was excellent. From the very first phone call, the staff were polite, patient, and professional. They showed great phone etiquette, took the time to explain my order clearly, and even gave me useful advice to make sure I got the best deal. That level of patience and guidance is rare and really stood out.

Food Quality The food was simply outstanding. I went for the 3 pizza deal, (Mix Grill Pizza) and it was amazing. The pizzas were fresh, full of flavour, and loaded with toppings. The fries were spot on—crispy, tasty, and not greasy. To top it off, they kindly added a drink, which was a thoughtful touch. Thanks!

Family Approval The best review came from my kids, who absolutely loved the food. They enjoyed every bite and even said thanks, which shows how much it hit the mark with them too.

Overall Experience Great service, amazing food, and a family-friendly vibe make Star Pizza an easy 10 out of 10. From the way they handle customers to the quality of their food, it’s clear they care about what they do.

Ordered the food, waited well over the estimated delivery time (changed from 20-35 mins to 60+ mins after I'd ordered). No delivery. No door knock, no ringing of the doorbell. I was sat in the living room next to the door. Absolutely not a sound. Saw on my phone I had a missed call (phone's on silent), with a voicemail stating Star Pizza had knocked on my door and gotten no response. I called the restaurant and clarified I hadn't heard the doorbell or the door being knocked. It was suggested rudely by the worker that I "hadn't heard the doorbell just like I hadn't heard the phone call." I told the worker that their comments were incredibly inappropriate and unreasonable. They would not re-send the food unless it was delivery was paid for again. I had ordered through Just Eat so am awaiting a refund via...

Ordered from here yesterday, the delivery driver attempted to deliver from the neighbour’s side. I heard a noise and opened my door to see pots tipped over and the fence damaged (see pictures).

The driver then told me that it wasn’t him and it was “two guys who did it and run off”, as he’s stood there with his arm through the fence..

I called Star Pizza and they said they’d speak with the driver and call me back. This never happened, I received no apology, no offer of refund, nothing.

This policy of not addressing complaints properly will only be of short term benefit. It will damage your business in the long run.

As such, Star Pizza gets 1 star from me and they’ve lost a regular customer. Terrible...
