Cafe53 Mirfield — Restaurant in Kirklees

I placed an order to collect and takeaway. I ordered a full English breakfast and a breakfast in a flatcake. I was advised to collect with 15 minutes and when I arrived, my order was being bagged and ready to go. I had a quick chat with the friendly staff and the owner and then left. When I arrived home my order was piping hot and absolutely delicious! The breakfast Is boxed in a metal tray not a polystyrene one, and wrapped in foil to keep it hot. It also stops everything slipped around the tray. The breakfast and the flatcake were both very filling and you got plenty. You wouldn't go hungry here that is a fact! As you can see from my photos, the breakfast was presented well and the extra fried bread and hash browns were both in the box. The egg was still lovely and runny and alongside this, 2 slices of toast came with the breakfast. I was defeated but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this cafe to anyone. It's not the first time I've been and I have tried many things off the menu, all which have been consistently good. Great place, fantastic food and drink. Dogs welcome inside which is brilliant. Plus they make them welcome fudge our staffy always gets a sausage to enjoy. It's brilliant knowing you can go inside with you're dog no problems. Had a lovely sausage butty packed to the brim with sausages, hubby had a full English breakfast. Can't fault it. That's why we keep going back.

Went in with my mum for lunch excellent, had a great big chipp butty was spot on, my mum had cheesy chips and even though we'd not got our dog, fudge was offered a takeaway sausage. Little touches like this is why we keep going back. No wonder this cafe is always busy. Any food we do leave is only due to the portions being generous.

Update...still going every week and the service and food is as always spot on and above and beyond...Me and Fudge won't eat or drink anywhere else,the fact we walk a six mile round trip to go here says it all

Just a complete waste of £35.00 The food was Freezing COLD & I had to phone up 3 times to speak to the owner but by this time it' was half a hour since the food had been droped off been on Google seen how the owner can't take criticism & How he responds to people saying "Stop smoking Drugs" to one person on a review for saying there was no pizza in to order it's on Google reviews just have a look your self there's many more on there, but when I did eventually did speak to this owner i got spoken to with attitude saying I've never had a complaint about cold food ever on all the years he's been open for witch to me sounds a bit like a fib but over all the food probably would of been nice if it was warm & not completely freezing but it was on time (but did take a hour to process) so over all the best bit about this meal is the two bottles of lucozade I ordered that was probably warmer then the hole order, I personally won't ever...
