Greggs — Restaurant in Kirklees

Easily the worst branch of the chain I've encountered. Unfortunately it's also my local. The products are largely fine, though availability is often an issue. Its the staff that make the experience so poor. Regularly they will have three team members on, one serving and the other two not doing a right lot. They are often chatting amongst themselves and there is minimal focus on the customer. You can often visit and find the queue out of the door, whilst one member of staff takes the orders. On a few occasions they've not had a pastry available and I'll ask how long - whatever they tell you add 5-10 mins as standard and you have to go up and remind them what you're waiting for. I love Gregg's me. Greggoria to be precise. The finest breakfast there is and a price to match. However i received a WhatsApp message from a fellow Greggoria ambassador stating they went into this store, on the morning of Sunday 21st November and was issued with a sign stating there wasn't any items that are on the image attached to this review.

No bacon. No sausage. Only Omelette.

That's like being an airline but only having coaches and no planes. Very frustrating and now i with 100% knowledge know that a fellow Greggoria ambassador is walking around Mirfield and is very cross. Very cross indeed.

Excellent customer service, at one of their busiest times. Staff were chirpy, service with a smile. wished customers a good day, and actually sounded like they genuinely cared!! And spoke very well could understand every word they asked.
