I find it frustrating I cannot respond to you Emma privately, but hey ho. Irrespective of what your version of events are and the CCTV stupidity ... Took a pic outside as was 3 generations of family hoping for a good meal ... It doesn't happen that much as Mum can't get around too well🤷. Whoever dealt with us is not a person you should have as an employee. As I said, it was a situation which was easily rectified that turned into something we've never dealt with before. Trust me - Mum and I have dealt with rather petty people since her stroke and therefore I am not easily rowsed. Most of the time we let things go. Sometimes I can't. This is one of them. Your staff that day were deplorable and should be ashamed of themselves. I understand you are defending your business and your staff. Equally ... Don't go here if you don't book online, (don't bother phoning 🙄). Don't take a person with mobility issues. Deffo don't expect any form of cordiality - although that will probably change now due to me calling you all out.

Thank You Emma for your slap in the face CCTV defense. If it wasn't for the fact you omitted the bawdy woman and her awful attitude. Who is a member of your staff🤔

"See ya layta" ... After a very stressful time which was supposed to be a lovely lunch with my Mum and Daughter. All I can say is Shame On You for that.

Front of House is imperative. I phoned to book. Own the mistake of your rather horrendous employee and move on.

There are better places to eat.

With Mutual...

2nd visit in the last 6 months. Both visits very poor overall. Gave the benefit of the doubt last time and decided to give it another go. We arrived at 1240pm and had our drinks ordered within 5 minutes but needed a little more time for food.

We were ready to order between 1250/1255. One of the staff came over just after 1pm to say brunch menu was stopping at 1pm even though advertised until 2pm, due to being short staffed. This is fair enough but why not tell us when we arrived as my partner wanted the brunch menu. Our order was then taken around 10-15 minutes later.

When the food arrived a good 30 minutes after our order, neither of our orders were correct. Our paninis were baguettes even though it was a panini we ordered. Also mine was meant to have cheese and it didn't. Both were barely filled and we had to spread out the filling we had to cover the bread. We did have our cokes taken off the bill due to the long wait. Didnt want to send the food back as we had waited long enough already.

Nobody came to ask how it was until after we had finished. I let the girl know mine didnt have the correct filling and she just said she would let the chef know.

Overall very poor service and very disorganised, the server was apologetic and trying her best considering but the communication was terrible. Staff shortages are understandable but had we known we couldve adjusted so communication lets them down. Wont be returning which is...

Avoid - we booked to attend an evening event here and was told to contact the Pie Shed to discuss our food options. Once I found out what the options were I was told to call back when I had confirmation from the rest of the attending party to let them know. I rang today just to let them know and was greeted by the rudest woman with a horrible attitude who I later found out was the owner who should have known better. Absolutely no need to be spoken to in the way she did, customer service was appalling. I understand it’s a busy time of the year and I probably got the brunt of your stress however this was completely unacceptable. It should have been a 2 minute or less conversation to take note of the options. If you are so busy you need to look at your staffing as you have just lost 3 customers and many more. The event organiser refunded us promptly but I would advise her never to use you as a venue again!! We will be telling all friends and family to...

The Pie Shed catered our wedding in April and it was absolutely amazing. From meeting Emma and her team up to the day they have always been so polite, friendly and accommodating. We wanted a relaxed meal, where our family and friends could share the food, eat as much, or as little as they wanted and feast long into the night which was exactly what was delivered. The BBQ feast for the day was perfect and the Vegan and Vegetarian platters where vast for our guests with dietary requirements. The Cake table was delicious and the Cheese and Meats grazing table made our evening! The food at our wedding has been talked about so highly by all our guests and our day is now renowned for the astounding food we had. I cannot thank The Pie Shed enough for making our day so special. It was everything we could have hoped for and more.

A bit of a shame, this place has potential to be really nice to there are a few problems that let it down. - When we went in it was very quiet but for some reason we were seated in the middle of the room right next to another couple which made it quite awkward (made worse because you could hear a pin drop) - I found hair in my bacon, photo’d below. - Very picky but the salt and pepper grinders are horrible and make a high pitched squeaky noise when using. - The price you’re charging I’d expect a bit more flavour, we paid almost £30 for two regular breakfasts, a coffee and a tea. - Service was quite slow, we got up and asked for the bill as I feel like we were forgotten about. Overall I think this place is okay, but nothing amazing and overpriced.

First time we have been. The food is excellent. And the prices are very reasonable. There are a selection of menus which you can see online and a specials board inside for something different. It is very popular so make a call before you go if you want inside dining. Outside dining is first come first served if you want to take a chance. There is a carpark right in front of the resteraunt. It has inside and outside seating seating areas. The staff are very friendly and it is spotlessly clean. Well worth the visit. You will not be dissapointed.
