Greggs — Restaurant in Kirklees

Finally with it being re opened I am a little late giving a new review... A lovely greggs shop very snazzy inside with the do over since the fire. The staff are lovely and very chatty always polite and helpful I also find them paitent too when i am trying to put money away there is no rush to serve the next customer like in some other greggs. they always wish me a good day too. A wide range of yummy foods I often grab meal deals from there a little sad they don't include crisps anymore but that is no fault of this store. Always very clean inside and very fast queues too. Never sat inside for long enough to rate atmosphere as i am in and out so...

Absolutely terrible experience at Greggs today. I ordered a coffee and two vegetable bakes, but when I went to pay, they said the card machine wasn’t working. I told them I always pay by tapping my card, but instead of helping, the staff were rude and dismissive. No apology, no respect, nothing. Their attitude was shocking and unprofessional. Has the potential to be one of best greggs in the area, especially now that they're in a spacious, modern, newly renovated store. It's unfortunate then that the staff are poor. Mainly young adults who couldn't care less about the quality of the food that they are serving. I've had items that were underdone, burnt and just plain wrong, all while managing to be stone cold. Avoid this greggs, go to a different one...
