Westgate 23 is a lovely modern pub in a old school town. It's recommended by Camra and awarded as the summer pub of 2022. For my visit on a late Sunday afternoon. I've had a nice fresh beer served by a lovely member of staff. Which is refreshing. There's no football, but a lovely playlist of music. Perfect for chatting with others in the venue. I've noticed that the venue hosts bands during the weekend. I would like to check that out some day. I hope that more people will check out this pub as it's been...
