This place is getting mentioned in every other convo so i thought id try it out. Ordered the mixed grill starter for 2 - probably the best Ive ever had. Waited around 20 mins for it so definitely was fresh as it wasn’t THAT busy when we arrived. Came with 2 lamb chops (great flavour, really well cooked, maybe left on grill a bit longer than id have preferred), 2 masala fish pieces (some of the best masala fish Ive had, amazing flavour and spices bursting through), 4 chicken tikka botis (great spices and was perfectly cooked - juicy , succulent), 4 wings (again, really well marinated and cooked very well - they were really small wings though), and 2 meat seekh kebabs (piping hot, freshy cooked, flavour unlike any other place Ive had - definitely the best seekh kebab Ive had after Bradfords famous “sweet centre”). Cost £18 Got 1kg lamb karahi with 2 garlic naans. Definitely the best karahi Ive had, served in the karahi itself, gave such a backhome, traditional vibe which probably made it taste even better. Soft meat falling on the bone despite being lamb so hands down! Naans were freshy made, you could tell.. and really tasted the garlic from it. Usually, other places, its a few diced up chunks thrown in the middle but this one tasted INFUSED almost - brilliant. I think it was £24/30 for the karahi and £3 each for the garlic naan. Unfortunately, the let down was the kabuli pilau. It was lacking that meat flavour in the rice that it should have had. It tasted too plain and sweeter more than savoury due to too many raisins. I tried this first as I knew that sometimes when you start with salty foods, other “not so salty” dishes will taste less but was still let down. For £12 , it was a big portion, enough for 2 alone or 3/4 if you’re having a bit of everything off the menu. We had a jug of mango lassi - really enjoyed it and its the best drink to have between your starters and mains so you can balance out your tastebuds. £8 The deco around the place was vibrant and different, theyve got upstairs seating too. I also believe you could corner off a table and cover the table as parda if needed for your family who wear niqab. The service, I gave 3 stars as it seemed there was only one guy doing everything, serving, taking orders, so we were waiting around longer than usual for basic things such as a refill of water, spoons, tissues etc. (the food makes up for it, the waiting felt worth it! To me anyway) Nevertheless, I’ll definitely be back with family to try their other dishes. Also! There’s enough parking everywhere as the parking is joined to a Tesco supermarket across.

Ok, so we heard the food here is very nice, we went from Blackburn to Batley to try it out. Ordered 2 Mix grills, Portion of 3 Chapli Kebabs and the 1KG Charsi Lamb Karahi with 2 Naans and 2 Rotis. Mix Grills - Wow, consisted of Lamb chops, Masala fish, seekh kebabs, chicken wings and chicken tikka, amazing, proper succulent and mouth watering flavours! Every piece had its own flavour and all were cooked and tasted to perfection. Definitely one of the BEST mixed grills I've had. Chapli Kebabs - I've had these from other places but be quite reluctant to taste them as I don't like the weird meat taste some have and spices, however, I will not lie when i say this has to be one of the best if not the best chapli kebab I have had, again, cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! You have to try this. Lamb Charsi Karahi - I tried for the 1st time in Akbars in Blackburn, it was horrible! But here, it was again, full of flavour, cooked perfectly well and tasted so good! You would want to clean the whole pan off with the naan, I would recommend the naan over roti, definitely try this curry if you haven't already. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit here, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Would want to visit again. Free parking in the Tesco car park, good seating and a wonderful atmosphere!

Busy place with splendid Chapali kebabs and karahis; no alcohol on premises! 👍 Card machine temperamental / bring cash 😅 1. Chapali kebabs on point, karahis are well done: the kebabs served fresh were bigger than expected, the sauces and garnishes complement nicely; naans were soft and fresh 👍 Charsi lamb karahi (on bone) was nicely made / more chillis than expected and less meat (1/2 kg for £17) overpriced IMHO 😌; altogether ended up paying £50 for 4 of us, good value for money 🤓 2. New premises / plenty of seating arrangements: 2 floors with 40-50 seating albeit a little cosy / tight 😉 Vibrant (bordering on noisy) atmosphere and family friendly; can get very busy (20-40 min wait for table) after 7pm 😅 3. Customer service could be better: looks like a family run business; we were welcomed nicely by a young lady in traditional wear mA; the men workers with Pakol / Pashtun hats was a nice touch but need to smile / engage more; the boss (polite and smiley) proactively comes over to ask how the meal and service was during the end 4. Prayer room facilities: limited area, recommend to do the 2-3 min walk to Batley Plaza (second floor) 5. Plenty of parking: Tesco Extra near by (1-2 min walk); access to ATM if needed

Small place but nice furnishings and atmosphere, was a very busy Friday night so lots of people dining in and also taking away. We were seated fairly quickly and staff were nearby and ready to take our order as soon as we were ready. The menu is simple and heavy on the chicken, would be really great to have a bit more veggie option. Food didn't take long to come really given that they made and brought it all up together (we'd have preferred to be asked or have the choice to have starters come first and mains after). I'd say the service was very good, staff were very attentive and polite, must have eyes on the back of their head as they came just at the moment I needed them without having to call for them. The food was exquisite, tasted really authentic, good quality produce cooked by someone who really knows what they're doing. My husband is often hard to please especially with Pakistani food but he was really pleased with the taste. Even my 3 year old enjoyed the meal (we didn't go for the children's meal , we just had a table of dishes to share) and he particularly enjoyed the chicken malai boti, naan and mint sauce. Charsi chicken karahi was beautiful, we weren't quite blown away by the chappel kebab though the flavour was nice, slightly too greasy. Sweet lassi was very nice, not too sweet, just right.

The artwork upstairs was really nice, would have been nice to have info cards on the wall naming the artist.

Overall a really enjoyable meal and very friendly and efficient service. Thank you for a...
