The New Inn — Restaurant in Kirklees

Appalling customer service. Stayed here one week ago. My booking document clearly state that I have agreed to pay £75 for a room and have opted to pay £14 for two breakfasts. When I paid at the accommodation I asked about the breakfast and was told there wasn't any. I then asked for a £14 refund. The two members of staff working at the bar were very unhelpful, clearly did not have any idea of customer service and told me their manager was away and they could not issue a refund without their permission. I followed this up 3 hrs later and the incompetent staff members still were not able to do anything. I was promised that the next morning when I left somebody would be there to issue me a refund. The next morning, a third member of staff called Kevin told me he also wasn't able to issue me with a refund and told me to email the manager. It is now one week on. I have emailed twice and had no response. Do not stay here, the customer service is dreadful and the staff are simply not up to the job. I paid for bed and breakfast but this was not delivered. Totally unacceptable. Unbelievable that the management have not been bothered to email back in...

Firstly the food was delicious and the portion size was very generous, unfortunately that is where the compliments end. They was 8 of us, we all had starters and a main course and most of us wanted a pudding too however they was no service to be found after having our main course delivered. One of us approached the bar to ask for service and he was told we would be seen to in 5 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes we decided to as for the bill instead of desert as we was by now fed up of waiting. Worst yet is the lack of cleanliness! In our group of 8 was a 1 year old baby who found 4 lumps of chewing gum which of course ended up in his mouth! So in a nut shell we paid a combined price of £130 to come out worried sick of what the person who left the gum under the table...

Dont get me wrong the food WOW it was amazing but we had to wait.

We booked a table the day befor as told it gets busy on a sunday, we got ther in plenty of time and shown to seat and got out drink with in minutes or ordeing them. We order the food and waited and waited and waited then we asked to move table due to a large table coming in witch we moved with out any problem. 1hour later they came out and they where cold bar 1 so we asked could they be heated up please. 15 min later they were back out. They only changed use for the drinks in the end and...
