I came here for a Christmas meal and I have to say this is an exceptional pub.

The food quality was amazing and I cannot fault a thing as it was quickly served and piping hot. The puddings were fantastic with a decent range.

In addition to this, they had no trouble seating the ten of us and we were welcomed in even though we were thirty minutes early. The pub has an enjoyable atmosphere with a traditional feeling.

I strongly recommend this for any meal but especially for special occasions such as a birthday or Christmas. I have been left extremely satisfied with my all-round experience and would certainly look forward to...

A very satisfying Friday evening visit. A varied menu with enough to make me want to visit again. We were greeted by friendly bar staff and quickly served drinks and offered a tab if we planned to eat, which we did. We were attended quickly once we sat down having ordered at the bar. My starter arrived promptly and was piping hot and delicious. The mains arrived with perfect timing and again hot delicious and not skinny in portions. The food is absolutely top draw !! Bit pricey but you don't mind when it's that nice !! Pub is now under new management and has been for a while and I understand that they do a limited menu which consists of fish and chips cooked in the van outside . Apparently it's a pub that is now mainly frequented by the younger generation with a pool table and tvs ! While there's nothing wrong with that a lot of seniors enjoyed the meals here before the new tenants arrived and probably wouldn't enjoy...
