Good food. Awful experience.

Booked a table early Sat evening for family meal after seeing the Good recent reviews. The small restaurant was busy, not with diners but with a couple of large tables of lads watching the football.

After ordering drinks our server brought the menus and immediately told us two dishes were no longer available and there were only 2 portions of rice left if anyone wanted curry. When she returned my wife and grandson wanted the burgers but were told these too were off - all this by 6.30pm.

At this point we were ready to leave but reluctantly agreed to stay when offered an alternative of chicken burgers.

The atmosphere worsened as we waited as the levels of 'banter' and open vaping increased and eventually asked to move tables.

The food when it arrived was really good. The chicken burgers were excellent using fresh, well seasoned chicken breast and my butter curry was also very good.

Unfortunately our evening was further marred by a confrontation when I went to the toilets and i couldn't leave quick enough.

While the food is certainly good our experience means we won't be back.

Was recommended bye friends about going here as the food was fabulous , we had 9 adults and 5 children, the girl in the restaurant was great, but the bar staff were not good at all, waiting for drinks we had ordered, not receiving drinks, when the food came most of it was very mediocre, fish was very Greece hadn’t been drained off properly, the kids chicken nuggets were very Greece, the worst 1 was the gammon, I have had better pieces of bacon, when we complained about it the girl came back to us and said she had told chef, he said because it had been half eaten he couldn’t do anything about it, they charged us for it, was so disappointed we will never go back as the attitude of the chef was if you don’t like it lump, we do try to support local restaurants and want them to succeed, but unless the chef sorts his attitude out, this restaurant will not last, P.s. the lamb shoulder was...

Amazing 👏, this little gem of an eatery has been under my nose for years, and Im kicking myself for not eating here sooner. The food was absolutely divine. The staff worked very hard and were the epitome of hospitality, their service as smooth as silk, very attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The food was a symphony of flavours, each dish a masterpiece in its own right. The belly pork was a revelation, a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The Lamb was a decadent indulgence, cooked perfectly, rich, and perfectly balanced, and a true indulgence for the senses.
