Visited Poco a few times. I get the concept of cafe by day, bar by night but for me, it doesn't quite work. As a cafe, the food is generally to an acceptable standard but the service is often slow, even when its not particularly busy.
The attempt to be a bar at night falls short. While they regular put on events, comedy nights etc. it still feels like a cafe with its harsh lighting and cafe furniture and for me it lacks ambience.
The owners are fortunate to occupy one of the largest and historic buildings in Prescot and with a bit of tweaking here and there, its concept could work better and make it a more attractive a bar.
I shall continue to pop in now and again in the hope...

Good range of coffees and very helpful Staff - but I wish that they did a larger cup for their 'Flat White', as it's a bit on the 'mean side'.
I'm Coeliac, but I've had a delicious Toasted Gluten Free Panini Sandwich that tasted every bit as good as an 'ordinary one'.
However, there is one BIG drawback for me as I walk with a stick. The toilets are up quite a long flight of stairs - with no 'Accessible Toilet' available for anybody with mobility issues and no 'Baby...
