I have dietary restrictions which are complicated. I prefer a salad at lunch and they have an amazing selection of salads. Eight! That’s very unusual. They literally created a salad with a combination of things I could eat and it was the best salad I have had in probably several years. I was so impressed. The food came quickly and my husband loved his as well. the cakes looked fantastic (and I’m a baker so I know what good cakes look like), but we didn’t try any. I’m sure we will be returning. Came here 2 years ago before I discovered I couldn't tolerate wheat. I had a delicious cake, and it had friendly staff. Returned today hoping to find something gluten free. No gluten free bread avaiable for sandwiches, no gf cake options. Didn't want a salad. Disinterested staff. Like being in the dark ages. Get some gluten free bread, keep it in the freezer, and at least offer a gf option. Or make some flapjack for goodness sake! It's not hard. I think it has changed hands as the staff we not...

Really fancied a bacon roll and a coffee so popped into here. The only thing they offer is salad or ciabatta (ie cardboard). They literally can't even make a sandwich or a cob. The cakes looked nice so we ordered two of those. It took an eternity to be served despite nobody else waiting, and when we got home we found they'd got the order wrong.

Basically the sort of nonsense you see in Hoxton - all style over substance.
