Such an incredibly stunning building, on the outside!!! The inside leaves you extremely disappointed. It is extremely run down, dirty, wiring hanging everywhere, paint peeling off, woodwork all chipped and battered. Uncomfortable furniture and furnishings. Carpet has not been fitted, just laid on the floor. The stunning architecture, abused and hidden by cheap and tacky chairs and tables. Half plastered walls. Closed in log burner inside a stunning large original fire place. Didn't dare sample any of the very limited basic food options! Didn't feel welcomed at all. So very very sad indeed. I can only pray that the new eden project will bring some much needed income into this Inn, so its beauty will reign again and the life of this stunning historic building will continue to live on for many years to come.

A friend and I stumbled on The Old Hall Inn while spending a weekend in Morecambe, we'd decided to take a bus down to Heysham and walk back along the coast. Very welcoming when we walked in. Asked about food and ordered a couple of pizzas with our drinks. Food came out quite quickly and was absolutely fabulous. Drinks equally good. Will visit again if I'm back in the area

Lovely old pub with lots of character. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and were welcoming to our dogs too. My partner and I enjoyed a few nice drinks in the front of the roaring fire

Went there for a night out with a friend who lives in the area, sadly the pubs let down by the locals opinion of It which isn't great, Then listening to someone being sick in the pan. 🤣 Can't comment on the food as I didn't order any.

Staff friendly and polite. Karaoke nights also.

The building itself is a pretty sight, and not to shabby on the inside either. Still greeted with all the oak fixings. Etc.. you just know this was owned by a wealthy family.

If you're lucky, you'll also see the outline of a spirit, ( I'm guessing female, what looks like a hood over her head, roughly 5ft tall.) who walks from the door in the corner, around the pool table, right towards to the fireplace then passes through...

Popped in last night for the first time in 25 years as we were visiting family but live in Birmingham. Yes Had a great night, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The decor is a bit tired but still perfectly acceptable to enjoy a few pints in and Vanessa took time out to talk to us about the history of the 525 year old building also showing us the plans they have for renovation but obviously as its a listed building nothing gets approved quickly. Overall it was a very enjoyable evening thanks to the friendliness of the...
