High culture epitomized! Having read about this establishment in Tatler (apparently several of Prince Harry's associates are regular visitors), I thought it must be worth a punt. And by jove I'm glad I went. When I was there, it seemed they were hosting some sort of drama-based art exhibition. The people partaking in this project were pretending to partake in a drugs-fuelled rave, in what one imagines was an elaborate attempt to hold up a mirror to a society which 'never sleeps.'
The decor can only be described as breathtaking, and I simply have to know who it's by, since it is one of the finest examples of 'post-industrial decline chic' I have ever seen. Mark my words, this is a venue that will blow up, so I would advise visiting before some sort of mainstream media outlet does a feature on it, and it loses its unique and memorable charm.
Finally, the culinary options were amazing, with South American (especially Colombian) cuisine featuring a lot, and I left feeling a new sense of belief in spirituality. It would also be worth investigating if they host weddings or other such celebrations at all, since this reviewer cannot think of a more personable and charming venue for your...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely awful night last night for Better Days! Extremely long queue for any bar or toilet. Venue had HUGELY oversold their tickets as there were 4 thousand people there when their maximum capacity is 2.5k. It was extremely dangerous, huge crowds and surges, people pushing and pulling EVERYWHERE. Mac and Cheese was on sale for £10 a pot and it was crap 🤮. How do you mess up mac and cheese?! And why was it £10 a pot when we already paid £16 for a ticket?!! Beaverworks only cares about money, they do not care about people having a good time. Better days was advertised as a safe, fun and exciting event that me and my friends were all looking forward to. Instead, it was an utter rip off, hugely packed venue with a 40 minute queue for the toilets! Once in the toilets you would be met with girls using the urinals which were overflowing… disgusting!! £6 for a small can of beer which was then knocked over as a result of the crowding! Absolutely awful, and I’m absolutely gutted. SHAME ON BEAVER WORKS AND BETTER DAYS, a report has been filed against you and an investigation will be...
Read morehad a nice time, staff were all friendly but i think it's ridiculous to allow smoking, not just of vapes but cigarettes, indoors is ridiculous. it creates an incredibly unpleasant environment that lets the whole venue down. not only did this negatively affect my experience its actually illegal.
i understand that at club events when things are busy its hard to police matters like these and i normally wouldn't complain as i could just move. however the event i was at was sat down in an enclosed space so it wasn't as though we could just move. when complaints were made about this management said that while they prefer if people didn't smoke indoors in close quarters they weren't concerned enough to actually do...
