Came here last night to catch up with an old friend. What struck me straight away was the vibe here, midweek and out of the city centre, yet it was busy with a real positive energy. We were greeted with coutersy and seated straight away. Service was prompt and polite without being overbearing. The Steakhouse is enourmous inside, light and airy, I'm too out of touch to know how to descibe it in interior design terms but I would say it has a nice rustic mix of original industrial features augmented with modern touches. We were given plenty of time to browse the menu while catching up. The menu is succint, this is after all a steakhouse, they stick to what they know and the decriptions are spot on. I found this refreshing. Therefore there was very little deliberation. I was in the mood for a burger and I was not dissapointed, I had the Burger with pulled lamb, and it was absoultely delicous, and while hearty, was not padded out with uneccesary extras. Plenty of meat and cheese, top quality bun, delicous tabel relishes (I wish I had asked what the tabel relish was). The complemetary fires were really really nice also. Kind of like Pub chips. Served fresh and super crispy, perfectly done, not too thick not too thin, I think the shape they were cut may have helped as they were wide, but not too thick. I dont think I have had fries that good for a long time. the pink table salk was alo a really nice touch. I felt that the food was superbly priced. We had spent a long time chatting after the meal and when we left the manager spent some time with us to make sure we were happy with our experience and service, which we were, he introduced us to some of the staff and we had a really nice chat, even though ot was late and probably getting close to closing time. This is a small place but the customer service and quality of food is outstanding.

I ordered a rib eye steak medium rare and an Angus beef burger; as I had heard alot of good things about it and wanted to try it. I wasn't disappointed, the quality of the beef was amazing and it was the best beef burger I've ever had, hands down. It was tender, juicy, succulent and flavorful, no condiments needed. Seasoned perfectly.

When it comes to the steak, the story was the same. Absolutely delicious and well seasoned. I got mine with mushroom sauce which was to die for. The high quality of the meat is clear cut to any steak eater.

One of my friends ordered a medium steak, he wasn't happy with how it was cooked and wanted to change to medium rare, the staff were extremely understanding and the manager was very helpful and replaced my friends medium steak with a fresh medium rare with no extra charge!

This is a sign of excellent customer care and service.

Overall, the food was absolutely amazing. I've had many steaks and beef burgers, but the beef burger over at bison is hands down the best beef burger I've ever had, and I can't wait to go back for another.

Highly recommend this lovely place to anyone and everyone. Furthermore, for the quality of the steak and beef, the prices are absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The food is very reasonably priced compared to competitors.
