I've got to say as a lorry driver this is the best pub I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I worked nearby for 5 months and was parked up there every night so obviously went there every night for a couple of pints. I've never been made to feel so welcome especially as I'm a Lancashire lad. The regulars that go in there are a great bunch I won't mention any names but bingo nights are amazing. Thank you all so much for your hospitality Leeds is now my favourite City. Thanks to Sid and Haley the owners and all the staff. Your pub is amazing I'll miss you all. I went to the crooked clock 25/01/24 for some food I ordered burger and chips. I waited 50 minutes for the food when the pub was empty at this time. The waiter passed me the food and reassured me the red mark on the plate was abit of chilli sauce spilled. After having a couple of bites of the burger I’ve realised that actually the red mark wasn’t chilli sauce and that if was dry blood. I honestly could not believe my eyes I returned the items to the kitchen and explained this is not acceptable 50 minute wait and to have human blood on the plate is very poor hygiene. I was given a refund for the food but honestly check your plates and food if you eat here!!...

Best thing was the drink. Went in for a carvery. Meat was dry and with a large you only get an extra meat. (Total two meats). The veg was peas, carrots and cauliflower cheese. The mash was lumpy and and there were roats. They made you feel like you couldn't have much. As they ran out if roast potatoes and they pulled the carvery off. The spoons used were just thrown anywhere. And gravy looked like. It had been there all day. Would not be going...
