Disappointed by all means - the staff were nice but not attentive. We waited for so long for our breakfast to arrive. And, again, waited for so long for our table to be cleared. There was no checking in as such and every time we needed something, we had to go back inside and ask for it. The restaurant was not short staff so I’d just blame the management for its staff not having been trained appropriately.
We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food was made very much unprofessionally. I mean, come on, even a child knows that the egg in egg royale should be gueye, runny yolk, but look at it for yourself in the pic. There was hardly any hollandaise sauce on it (first photo) so I had to ask for more sauce (second photo) which is the main part of egg royale. No salad at all either, the poorest breakfast you would ever have. My friend’s egg was fine but no sauce at all. There was no salt and pepper or sauce on the table. The water came to the table with only 3 glasses for 10 people.
The cutlery was dirty, we asked them to be changed three times and every time they brought a new set, we had to ask them to be taken back as you could see the dirt on them.
The full Turkish had only what you would find in your own fridge. The egg should have been Turkish egg but it was instead a dull fried egg with 5 slices of sausage.
We won’t go this restaurant ever again and I would discourage everyone to go there until it makes some attempt in meeting the basic standards. This was one of our worst restaurant experiences ever. There was no sight of the manager or we would have raised all this with him there and then as the birthday party of three of our friends was ruined due to the low quality of food and service we received...
Read moreWent in for takeout and decided to have a seat. The ambience was just that welcoming. Headed over to try their coffee, and get something from the evening menu, I ended up staying and calling my sister over, we had the Ali Nazik, and the turkish Mixed grill (can't remember the name) but everything was divine and delicious. Was served a big puff of complimentary turkish bread and salted butter, yummy! And the mains...fresh, flavoursome and throughly enjoyed. Ended up having dessert, some fresh Victoria sponge and a blueberry cake. The coffees...something else, smooth, fresh and made to perfection 👌 The manager was so attentive throughout, very generously even gave us a hot chocolate, his own recipe to try, which didn't let him down! We will be back for sure...the vibe is...
Read moreTried Bono today and had a really satisfying brunch. The All Day Breakfast was generous and well put together — crispy hash browns, perfectly fried eggs, grilled tomato and mushroom, tasty bacon and sausages, all balanced out with warm baked beans and toast. Everything was cooked just right.
The avocado toast with poached eggs was fresh and light. The bread was nicely toasted, the avocado creamy, and the eggs had that perfect runny yolk.
I had a hot chocolate and it came with the cutest heart-shaped latte art on top — creamy and comforting. The long black was bold but not bitter.
Great vibes, lovely presentation, and a brunch I’d happily...
