Ristorante Sorriso — Restaurant in Leeds

Got a delivery in on a Friday night for a treat night last night. We used to use this place a lot, but sadly this occasion it wasn’t good at all. For 2 pastas and a pizza was £47.00. I thought with it been a restaurant as well takeaway would still feel like you’re having something special. There was 4 hairs in the cheese on the pizza and pasta was stone cold. I wouldn’t go there again and pay our hand earned money to have something so disheartening. They bought a pizza out again for us and another pasta but sadly when you have had an expensive like that it completely puts you off your food. Sorriso you can do so well. Lovely friendly local restaurant with amazing Sardinian food and Italian hospitality. Went there with our 5 year old Grandson and his 20 week old Sister, they could not have been more welcoming. Special children's menu with plenty of choice, Henry chose the pizza and asked for a few pieces of pepperoni, it was the size of the plate and he ate the lot. I had pasta with crab off the specials menu, my husband had the most gigantic calzone, daughter had calves liver and my stepmother had seabass, we all really enjoyed our meals. Great little Italian restaurant. Good basic menu with pizzas, pasta and some more traditional Italian mains. But tbh we all ordered from the specials board, so if they haven't got something on the main menu don't be put off. It was fish heavy. Which I love and I went with the lobster ravioli but it was nearly the halibut with butter sauce. The desserts were lovely too. I heard the bread and butter pudding ( not so Italian) was amazing but my tiramisu hit the spot.
