Cafe Sorella — Restaurant in Leeds

I set myself a goal of finding the best cafe/ coffee shop in West Yorkshire this summer and after umpteen attempts, can happily say that in my opinion, I've found it. Step forward Cafe Sorella in Gildersome. The food is fantastic, so tasty, good sized portions with excellent presentation...I love the club sandwich. The cakes are delicious, home made and change almost daily. The afternoon tea is great value at 9.95 and is full of lovely things with superb presentation. After eating here, you realise just how rubbish the Costas, Starbucks etc are...bland food, full of preservatives as nothing is freshly made and with hardly any filling, very infrequent changing menus and frankly a not very clean environment. The perfect place for a catch up with friends or a solitary naughty nibble. I just love Cafe Sorella, the food is tasty and well presented. I can definitely recommend the Cafe Sorella breakfast, the Sorella club sandwich and the soups. And the cakes? Well take your pick all yummy and VERY naughty! The coffee, however you take it, is great quality and there is also a good range of teas for those who are tea total. The staff couldn't be more friendly or more helpful. Service is prompt and efficient. There is always a smile and a cheerful greeting to welcome my visit. The decor is smart and contemporary without feeling cold and impersonal.
