Nice pub to start with. Had wrong change handed to me by a member of bar staff which was my friends whom had forgotten so turned round and gave what the member of staff had given me. Went and sat down and had a chat how we thought 9.40 was dear for a southern comfort and lemonade. When my friend challenged him at the bar. The rude and obstructive bar member came to me and said he'd given me a £5 note which he haddent and was insinuating that I'd ripped off a friend of many years when I had to empty my pockets and everything to dictate to him that I had done nothing wrong. I asked the barman why he'd given me a receipt for £9.40 to be told "that doesn't matter or mean anything" you've clearly got someone's visa receipt out of the till think it was a note when it wasn't and when I asked for him to review the CCTV footage on the bar which would show clear as day that he was wrong and not me I just got told "it doesn't work". For peoples safety shouldn't they be working???. All in all the first time and generally the last time I will come here unless I ever think to have the correct change in which not to be blastfemed at or wrongly accused. Anyway this is my thoughts but if you speak to people how you did me it's a wonder how long you'll stay...
Read moreThis place is very hit and miss. during the week it's a cracking little place, but as soon as Saturday comes it's full of people who cannot behave themselves, loud and chav like behaviour. You always get served and bar staff really do get on with the job. prices are steep, but I think that's because it's trying to get rid of the type of clientele mentioned above, doesn't seem to be working. It's a good modern bar, deffo what Farsley needed, but it's being dragged down with certain type of people, which unfortunately, the bar it's self cannot control. I'd suggest visit through the week, but Saturday, go further a field and find...
Read moreFrom my experience the staff were very helpful. Matthew the owner is really pleasant . I've only been during the day , seems like a great alternative venue . Was an old pub but it's been converted to a contemporary bar but tastefully incorporated the old stained glass windows . Fairly new business but in a great spot on Farsley Town street. Prices looked reasonable, great selection of beautiful gin bottles... Do food and I felt instantly comfortable... Cosy corners if you want to meet for a chat thumbs up Bar 33. Please could you add a menu and phone number to...
