Rodley Barge — Restaurant in Leeds

Went to rodley festival and spent most of the time in the owl but thought we'd see what the rodley barge was like with my little girl. After my 6 year old girl got kicked by one of the so called regulars and I got a full pint knocked out of my hands and over myself and my daughter the bar staff then accused me of been out of order and said that the so called local would never do anything of that nature as they know him personally this so called local then said oh well to my daughter and didn't apologise the bar staff then said I was out of order by asking him to apologise to my daughter who now has a nasty graze on get leg along with a cut. After leaving the bar area I was approached by the bloke who just laughed and said it don't matter she shouldn't be there. Unfriendly and not a nice atmosphere, the pub is very unclean, it’s one of the those pubs where it’s very clicky’ if your not from the area you are made to feel uncomfortable. I ordered some food for my family, the food wasn’t fresh, I could tell it was frozen. The staff aren’t friendly no eye contact or acknowledgment when waiting at the bar. One of the staff members who I believe to be the landlady was not friendly, apparently one of the customers says she’s always like that. I would have thought been a land lady of a pub you would have better people skills and a friendly manor with customers, I’m well and truly scared off, and the frozen food also left a bitter taste in my mouth! The Barge was around a long time before the previous owners of the owl were and im sure it will see more come and go in time as it stands strong.
