Smashd — Restaurant in Leeds

They were definitely a 10/10 at first.. I order quite regularly.. However, the quality has gone down hill quick.. the past two times I ordered a simply smashed burger it was tasteless. The last time I ordered wings they were old and either microwaved and they just added sauce or they fried them again and added bbq sauce. Had to throw away Yesterday I ordered a zinger burger meal. The chips were old, refried.. and the chicken was rubbery.. so either old chicken that they reheated in the micro or refried. It was aweful.. The quality in food has reduced. You need to put in the same effort you did when I first ordered from you guys. Even my husband complimented the food. The food when cooked with attention and care it tastes really good. Ordered on the 1st of jan. They rang me to say they had no beef for the burgers. Asked for a refund one claimed he didn’t know how to refund but in the end it got done ( to my knowledge) was told to wait 24 hours but got a email next day to say enjoy your delivery and that it had been delivered when it hadn’t. I had no email to say it had been cancelled (which you should normally get a email to confirm what they did) left it till Thursday and one of the workers whatsapped me a picture of the transaction being refunded yet the transaction was a totally different payment to what I made. So clearly wasn’t legit. Then when I sent this screenshot of my transaction over I was ignored and not answered. I’ve spoke to my bank and had to open a fraud case to get my money back as they are not cooperating very rude over the phone calls first and last time I will ever...

Most definitely came back with a BANG! Customer service was on point with extremely friendly and well mannered staff. Very spacious and clean. I had the simple smash burger with fries and a cookie pie for dessert. They did NOT disappoint. The burger had perfectly tender and full of flavour meat complimented with a fresh bun. The fries were hot and fresh as well as the burger! It surely satisfied my burger cravings! The cookie pie was something new to me and was very delicious! Could’ve been better with some ice cream but overall, very reasonably priced and I’ll definitely be visiting this place again soon. It’ll be on top of my takeout spots in the future especially for a smash burger....
