South africa very attractive nose with lots of tropical fruits such as pineapple, guava and citrus fruit, carrying on to the crisp, refreshing palate.

Tonight was my first time visiting the new restaurant which is based upstairs from the deeva restaurant. It is based in a beautiful building. The decor is the first thing you take in, it has a great relaxing trendy feel. With a big glitter wall and a tuc tuc to stand and get those important photos! As well as a separate area for private dining and a comfortable seating area for those pre or post cocktails. It gives a great vibe and sets you up for a great evening. We were welcomed straight away and seated . It was busy but still could get a table for two, we didn't book but it is advisable at the weekend. The staff shown us the drinks menu and the specials board full of cocktails. The cocktails were quick to arrive and were really very good. We were offered some poppadoms and a pickle tray whilst we looked at the menu. We choose okra fries and mushroom pakoras for a starter but asked for them to come with our mains. We also ordered the seafood curry and the lamb hydrabadi, as well as mushroom pilaf rice and a garlic naanh bread . The okra fries were very good crunchy and full of flavour. I especially enjoyed the seafood curry that I had ordered Asian style it was full of flavour but not overpowered with heat . The staff were very attentive, all foid and drinks came out in a good time frame. They were happy to box up our leftovers. After our meal we went to finish our drinks in the lovely seating area when sat in you really get a feel of the atmosphere. There is also some outdoor seating for those that want some fresh air. We had such a lovely time and nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff. We have booked the private dining area for a family party that is coming up I can't wait to return. This restaurant is up a set of stairs but there is disabled access at the rear of the building, cats PJs is at the top of some glass stairs but they do have some tables downstairs to give all access to there amazing food. Finally it is worth knowing that this is a nut free restaurant and they cater very well for all . They have many options for vegans and gluten free options. There is no parking specifically for the restaurant but there is a public free car park across from and behind the building.

We had a very nice meal here with friends. There was quite a long wait time for the food to arrive. But when it did, it was very good indeed. The staff were all great. We were left to spend time eating, and were not rushed out of the restaurant afterwards like in some places.

Do not waste your money. Totally inedible. Burnt tasting curries (must have been using a burnt oil or spices) and chicken dry to the bone. When complained they were rude, defensive and dismissive.

This is by far the worst restaurant I have been too. Trading from Deevas, the food is in fact the same. The cats pyjamas menu is available to order from but the food itself is not the same dined at various branches. Starters, rice and dessert all made by microwave. Mains bland. The apparent owner made his way around the restaurant for feedback and when the above was said he refused to acknowledge any problem with the food let alone the fact it is not cats pyjamas food. Being a cook myself this was simply insulting my intelligence. It is not even worth the one star...

Placed an order on Deliveroo a couple of bits were missing so contacted the restaurant and spoke to who I think was the manager he apologised and got one of the restaurant drivers to deliver the missing items. Very kind of him to do that when he could have just told me to sort it with Deliveroo.

Highlights for me were masala fries what had a good level of spice and you can’t go wrong with the...
