Newhaven Curry House — Restaurant in Lewes

We ordered from here (change from Malonchos in Peacehaven) as we can get it delivered but never again will we change from what we know is good! The lady on the end of the phone was lovely and helpful but when our food arrived it was cold. The rice, from where it had cooled from being so over cooked, was stodgy and stayed in lumps! My mum asked for her curry to be medium rather than the advertised mild which I was told was fine but when it came it was milder than mild! The onion bajis were tasty but cold, the naan was cold and chewy! My butter chicken had little taste. It's Christmas Eve and my husband and I ordered from here. We ordered at 5.30pm expecting a fair wait but was told 45 minutes. The food arrived just 5 minutes after that with an apology from the delivery guy, although we would easily have waited an hour or more. Every dish was piping hot and exactly as we would have liked.
