I visited The Crown with my wife and two young children last Sunday. My wife and I had a roast (beef and chicken) and we got snacks for the children - there were some great choices for young children. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere was the best it has been for a long time. The team were friendly and efficient, and the food was tasty. Thank you to the new owners, we look forward to coming back and supporting our local pub.

Under new ownership and what a fantastic evening at The Crown. Grafton and his team delivered a beautiful meal tonight. It’s so good to see the pub flourishing and full of happy customers. Festive menus that cater for all dietary requirements and children. Can’t recommend enough. Both log fires were blazing and it is just lovely to see the building cared for again. Would definitely recommend.

What a turnaround!! Grafton & Lisa worked so hard & have transformed this country village pub; It is such a pleasure to go to for either a drink or meal. Not just a warm welcome and great atmosphere but amazing food and a great wine selection. Staff are always friendly, offering great service and Chris does an amazing expresso Martini!

Title: A Delightful Experience at The Crown Inn Alrewas

Review:

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Crown Inn Alrewas for a Sunday lunch, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly team.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the beef with pork as an extra. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that great care and attention to detail went into preparing this dish. The combination of flavors was an absolute joy to indulge in, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.

Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere at The Crown Inn was inviting and cozy. The rustic charm of the establishment added to the overall experience, creating a comfortable and relaxed ambiance. The staff, especially Sophie, went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Their attentiveness and friendly nature added a personal touch to the dining experience.

I must commend the whole team at The Crown Inn for their dedication to providing excellent service and culinary delights. The attention to detail, the quality of the food, and the warm hospitality truly made this visit memorable.

If you're in Alrewas and looking for a place to enjoy a delightful meal, I highly recommend The Crown Inn. Whether it's for a special occasion or a casual dining experience, you can expect exceptional food, a cozy atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers.

Thank you, Crown Inn Alrewas, for a fantastic dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of your...

Had a relaxing Sunday lunch and drinks at this delightful village pub yesterday with my partner and her children. We sat at one of the many picnic benches in the attractive beer garden, shaded by a parasol from the afternoon sun. There were a few other families sitting outside and others inside, suggesting it's a popular pub for those with young ones. There's plenty of space for kids to run around outside, and trees for them to climb.

The three members of bar staff I spoke to were friendly and had smiles on their faces, which was refreshing. The toilets were spotlessly clean, and despite the fairly large number of people at the pub, there were plenty of free tables.

There was a large and varied amount of drinks available (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and there was a chef in the kitchen who served us some tasty fries.

We will definitely...

Mains okay, desserts awfull. Just short of £4 for ice cream but nearly £6 for a Sundae, still fair prices.. only problem is they are exactly the same thing. Ice cream and sauce with a wafer. My mum's allergic to Apple (Can have full anaphalaxis) assured her desert was mixed berries only by our waitress. Apple was in the desert!

Asked to speak to the manager and or the chef. They sent back in one of our waiters who's still in 6th form with their replies. 2 stars given, purely as our waiter Lewis was fantastic, let down by the staff around him. Wouldn't go back. Be very careful if you have allergies, staff clearly don't...
