Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Lincoln

I've been to the drive thru many times and it's excellent!! But today I thought as I was passing we would sit in, it was quiet, only 2 other pairs in. We ordered at the counter, took a few repeats of our order. Then we stood there for 10 mins with 3 staff on, 2 pottering and one running drive thru. Then after 10 mins the person running drive thru asks us if we're sitting in, starts making our drinks after watching the other two wandering round. Said person then makes our drinks, to be given the wrong size in one and told it can only be that size and the other was corrected. These were drink in, and were given paper cups. 15 mins later we are finally sat with our drinks. There may have been just one member on! Hence the low score. Let's hope...

I use this drive through and find the all the staff friendly and cheerful first thing in the morning, I Visited inside this week and was disappointed, one manager or maybe area manager stood chatting to a member of staff whilst one other staff member was serving, cleaning tables etc., at one point the area manager pushed passed us to get herself some sugar - no excuse me etc… then went back to her position chatting - all the time customers were coming in and Jenna was rushing around serving and clearing tables with a very cheerful disposition (I wouldn’t have been happy that I was the only person working). Well done Jenna as always even at 7am your service is excellent and I hope costa recognise what an excellent team...

So disappointed!! The staff are very rude and unhelpful! Went through the drive through and it was quiet, no cars in the que and no customer inside, so I thought no need to place the on the intercom, the whole hell broke loose! The staff very rudely told me to go and drive around and place my order on the intercom! I of course objected and was told that if I don't do that it is not possible to take the order as the system won't allow it!!!! I contested and eventually they took my order with the warning that that's the last time they do that! The manager was called and she was just as rude! I own a food business and can't even imagine treat a paying customer like that!!! I wish the owner would read the reviews and would...
