Been here before and left a 5 star review however on this occasion I'm sorry the visit was a massive disappointment. Our table was booked for 1pm, we ordered at 1.20pm, starters arrived along with children's meals as requested but this arrived by 2.15pm. One of The children's burgers came and it was still raw on one edge... this was a children's burger. We sent it back and it returned extremely over cooked and dry like rubber. Mains didn't arrive until 3.20 and the 2 mixed grills we couldn't tell what meat was what as it was all the same colour and the steak I ordered as medium well was rock hard and very over done, the chicken on my partners hunters chicken was bone dry and my friends partner ordered garlic bread that had a pasta sauce type substance on the bottom of them as if they had been sat on a different plate before hand.

After being a manager in hospitality for many years I understand how people's tastes can be very different but for not 1 plate to be of a satisfactory standard on a whole table and for us to be told you were busy with only 17 tables in dining your shift management is not very desirable. There was no excuse from what I saw for the sub standard service or sub standard food. No one came to ask if everything was okay with the food, we had to ask where the mains were and even had to ask for starter plates to be removed. I'm sorry this is a long review but from what I experienced today its just not long enough and will be more than happy to take my business...

poor food and poor mangerial support, lack of customer service. one person asked for well done steak - it came medium rare - no one checked on meal after serving it and at the end the waiter said that it was a shame that I could not eat the steak but did nothing about it. The photos show the steak, I was only able to manage two mouthfulls from the edge, the steak was red and ousing blood, it tasted very stringy as well - which is not what you expect from a sirloin steak, I cannot fault the chips, peas and mushrooms that came with it but as these were all I could eat, it makes it a very expensive meal. Another person had the mixed grill and all of the meat was poor. On the offer for the Wednesday curries with free drinks - we ordered the curries and asked about the free drinks - the manager said we could not have them. We were unable to see how to do this on the app and had asked for help and the manager said this was our own fault. He was unwilling to try and resolve the problem and was rude and arrogant. If we had not ordered the drinks at the time of ordering the curry he was not going to do anything about it! The young female waitress was great and very polite. We had been before in Feb 25 and had an excellent Sunday lunch and the female manager at the time was great and interested in the customers. I am not sure if we will...

Booked online for a 5.30pm sitting. Got to the bar and only 1 member of staff on the floor and we had to wait for him to become free and then he had to clean a table before we could sit down.

Went to the bar to order food and drinks as the table app wasn't working, but just 2 staff there and one was new! We waited in line for 20 minutes to order and when we got to the front, we had to wait another 5 minutes whilst the barperson served drinks because they were so far behind. Then the young lady called those behind us forward as she thought we were being served!! Eventually ordered the meal and told about a 20-30 minute wait for food, which was acceptable given the circumstances.

Food arrived and a steak had to be sent back as it came out Rare and not Medium as asked for. We also asked for no peas on one mixed grill and it came with about a dozen on the plate which again, is unacceptable - if you say you don't want something, then you wouldn't expect to find it on the plate!! The steak on that plate also came RARE and not MEDIUM-RARE as ordered - it was edible up to a point, but at least 25% of it had to be left as it was too "bloody"!

Giving all the issues, the food was tasty once it was sorted!

Overall a disappointing experience and one which we won't be repeating for...
