A great little caffè, just off the dock road. It has a lovely quirky interior, and relaxed vibe with loads of light. The owner, (Riccardo?) was very chill and lovely, and was receptive to my idle chatter about how great I feel his homeland is. He even made recommendations on better life choices - mainly upgrading my decaffeinated coffee to a Ginseng coffee instead, and wow! I'm hooked! There seems to be quality products on the shelves (moma oat milk included) which is always a win. Foodwise - a simple but good looking menu. What more does one want on a rainy Saturday morning? I had one of the delicious italian flatbreads (piadina) - the traditional prosciutto di parma one, which was made with patience and care, grilled to perfection, tasted delicious throughout and was nicely filling (the flatbread itself was heeeaven!). I for one will definitely be visiting again. 🙏 💖 P. S. The picture is of my mostly eaten piadina. It was only when near-finished nomming the realisation hit that this momentus occasion required documentation! 😂

A cozy coffee shop with a good selection of pastries and well made espresso. A nice atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and outside when the weather is ok. A little bit out of the city but good parking nearby and handy for a coffee before going into Liverpool. Very close to the new Everton stadium so may get busier in the future. Has a maker space attached which runs plenty of courses.

Absolutely loved this place! The quality of coffee and the coffee making art are amazing. Plenty of options of pastries, mainly Italian originals like cannoli! Ricardo is a great host, he made me try the ginseng coffee, as I don't drink caffeine, and it blew my mind the way he made it into a cappuccino. He makes on the spot great savoury foods, too, my favourite by far the piadine.

The authentic Italian piadinas (hot wraps) are absolutely DELICIOUS. I get the veggie one with mozzarella tomato and mushrooms, it's one of my favourite lunches in Liverpool and you cant get these anywhere else as far as I'm aware! They do meat ones as well which I'm told are equally tasty.

I'm super picky with hot chocolates and my usual gripe is that they arent chocolatey enough but Riccardo's hot chocolates are super velvety chocolatey yumminess. I dont drink coffee but everyone raves about the coffee here, authentic Italian style and he even roasts his own beans!

Also Riccardo himself is an absolute dude, lovely chap. And the cafe itself has lovely vibes, lots of plants and kinda boho.

Would definitely...

Coffee is my thing and having tried many roasters, I settled with what I thought was the best in the UK until now. Riccardo gave me an espresso on the house being confident his coffee would be better than my regular go to I informed him of which I buy from a roasters just over the water. I can honestly say it was the best coffee I have ever had and I knew it by the smell and crema even before I tasted it. I cannot recommend this coffee enough. What a find! I left with a kilogram of beans roasted this morning. This coffee is excellent and at 92 degrees with 9 bar of pressure and the grind size worked out expertly, it is made perfectly. This man knows and loves his coffee. You...
