We chose smashed avocado dish on sourdough and I had veggie breakfast. Service was v slow we sat for a v long time waiting for food. When it came the avocado was on "fried" sourdough bread slice, hard & unhealthy. My husband asked for another piece of bread and moved the stuff on it instead leaving the fried piece on the plate. My veggie breakfast dish was OK. They charged us £2 for the bread. No one asked if food was OK. No one cared to check anything we were left for long before food and when we asked for the bill. I went for the spinach, pepper, onion, and tomato omelette, which was light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. My mum chose the smoked salmon toast topped with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce – also very tasty, though the yolks were unfortunately overcooked, which was the only minor let-down.
Overall, the food was fresh, wholesome, and beautifully presented. This is a great spot if you’re looking for a healthy and filling breakfast. On top of that, their pastries looked out of this world – definitely worth coming back for.
