The very friendly staff and delicious food make this a great place to enjoy what for many people is the most important meal of the day.
I stumbled on it walking from The Titanic Hotel into town and then visited it three more times during my recent stay in Liverpool. While the area around the diner is in need of some clean-up and renovation, the Riverside Diner is always kept sparkling clean by its staff.
The menu at this woman-owned business is extensive and very reasonably priced, which clearly makes it a go-to for many people working in the area. (If you are in a car there is plenty of parking on any of the side streets nearby). I've had a full English and a toasted sandwich among other offerings and have consistently been delighted with my food. One or two crispy hash brown triangles always made a great side item with my meals.
Their opening hours are extended when Everton are playing at home (given the stadium is just 1/4 mile away), so do take advantage of prices which will be half as much - and food that is twice as good - as anything you will get in the stadium.
