China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Liverpool

After trying many many Chinese meals and them just never hitting the mark, this one came upon my radar.

And I'm soo glad it did.

Amazing customer service and fantastic food.

The Malaysian beef was spot on, spicy and full of flavours with chunky vegetables and soft beef wow

The chicken fried rice was very tasty with loads of chicken in it and the chicken was soft and tasty .

The BBQ ribs tasted amazing like old school ribs with a proper BBQ sauce from yesteryear ,.

The hot and sour soup which is my go-to never had much meat in but plenty of strips of veg, it was nice and spicy and just the right amount of sweetness.

Will be going back to this place I can tell you .

Well I tried it again and was a bit disappointed !I tried the chicken and sweetcorn soup but I felt it tasted like warm kettle water with something to thicken it up wasn't tasty at all, and the crispy beef samosa should be called crispy beef wafers, theres hardly no filling I am gutted I should have got sui mai or something with substance . Also the ribs were very bare of meat a couple of scrapes of meat off the bone . Disappointed this time 😭,will have to take a point off.

Tried again and it was not nice, the black bean sauce was very weak and bland , the ribs were tough , the fried rice was hard. Beef wafer samosa terrible for four quid. And the chicken and sweetcorn soup was like water .

My first time coming here and I can honestly say that It's been a very long time since I've had such exceptional customer service in a restaurant. From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed like we were friends coming for dinner, we didn't feel just like customers because we felt very comfortable and it was very homely. From sitting down I couldn't help but admire the beautiful decor and atmosphere and the staff were absolutely amazing, always checking in and making sure all was good. The food was beyond outstanding. We all started with soup and prawn crackers, followed by sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, crispy duck, spring rolls and chips. Very much love and thanks to the restaurant as it was a birthday party and they surprised us by coming over with a birthday cake with a lit candle, without us knowing and that my lovelys is what you call exceptional customer service with brilliant food, positive energy and a place that you should most definitely make a regular visit too. We have been visiting this restaurant for over 15 years. Everything from the food, the space itself, to the amazing staff, is absolutely outstanding. The food is of exceptional quality; always hot, fresh and delicious and the prices are unbelievable as well. Spotlessly clean everywhere, with a lovely feel to it.

I HAVE to mention the staff; honestly the most warm, welcoming, kind hearted people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Nothing is too much trouble, they honestly go above and beyond. Eric is a true gentleman and Cherry is wonderful. I regularly visit with my elderly mum and Cherry is so kind, patient and attentive with her, helping her with putting on her coat and walking mum out to our car. The warmth and hospitality of this wonderful restaurant and its truly wonderful people, you will not find seconded anywhere else.
