Pausa Cafe — Restaurant in Liverpool

Staff are lovely and doing their best, but service is very slow because there’s only one person in the kitchen and one person at the front making all the hot drinks one by one. It was a 20 minute wait to be served at the till and there were only two people in front of me.

Unfortunately every time I’ve been tables have had trays of finished crockery and cups and crumbs everywhere, so you have to move it and wipe it yourself before sitting down. I don’t mind doing that to help the staff, but it’s really doesn’t create a nice feeling to clear your own table. It would also be helpful if they had a surface or trolley where you could take the finished trays and crockery. Maybe there is and I missed it.

Served insipid filter coffee instead of the usual high standard Americano, no explanation. Love to know where the staff get their one magic blue glove from! There is a good amount of seating although it can get a little busy, particularly near the end of the breakfast offer.
