Tried this place for the first time and ordered the pork chop with white curry and rice, tom yum soup noodles with chicken and prawns, garlic butter fried chicken wings, and iced lemon tea.
The portion sizes for both mains were generous and very reasonably priced. The white curry was rich and fragrant without being too spicy, and the pork chop was tender and flavourful. The tom yum soup noodles were also tasty, made with chicken thigh meat that was tender and juicy. The soup had a nice depth of flavour—personally, I wouldn’t mind if it were a bit spicier.
The highlight for me was definitely the garlic butter fried chicken wings—crispy, packed with flavour, and moreish. I would have happily ordered another plate if I wasn’t already so full. The iced lemon tea also had that classic Hong Kong-style taste, which was a lovely touch.
While we were there, the owner happened to be filming an interview but still came over to apologise for the slight wait and even offered us free drinks—really excellent service.
There are around eight free parking spaces right outside the entrance. On weekdays, you can park for up to two hours, which is more than enough time for a relaxed meal. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Hong Kong and Southeast...
Read moreI’m a visitor from southern UK and discovered this restaurant online a year ago. Ever since, I’ve been looking forward to visiting during my Liverpool trip.
After a road trip through Wales, ending in Llandudno, I came straight here for lunch. Parking was easy with plenty of street spots nearby.
The staff welcomed me right away. The restaurant is compact but seats around 20 people comfortably. I had booked a bar seat and tried the chef-recommended pork chop with white curry rice—flavourful and reminded me of dining in Hong Kong. I finished it all.
I also ordered a Hong Kong-style milk tea (less sweet), and it was just right.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food arrived quickly and was clearly fresh and high quality. The space was clean and well-kept.
This is a genuinely Hong Kong-run restaurant, and you can feel the care in every detail. The chef also seemed engaged with customer feedback, which I appreciated.
A main and a drink cost under £20, very fair for the quality and portion size.
I’ll definitely return to try more dishes. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Hong Kong cuisine.
Thank you...
Read moreYou really must eat here. It's a small Asian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, so relaxing. My boyfriend and I eat here every couple of weeks. The food is perfect and looks exactly like the photos on other peoples reviews. It's delicious. Natural flavours. No MSG. No grease left behind on your plate. The food isn't loaded with salt and sugar. There's a good choice of dishes from chicken in curry with rice to hotter spicier dishes. Portions are filling, and don't leave you feeling uncomfortably bloated. We've tried everything on the menu we go there that often and we have enjoyed every dish. A favourite of ours is the honey mustard chicken starter. The quality of the cooking is excellent and the presentation of the food is beautiful. The staff are always friendly, polite, and welcoming. The chef normally pops out to say hello. The prices are great they could charge more if im honest. It's always clean and tidy. Never have we been in and saw a table left with other customers' dirty dishes left on it. If a table is empty, it's ready and waiting for the next customer. There's on street...
