DIABOLICALLY SHOCKING

I came to this place and ordered food for table number 37 on 8th November 2022 at 11.45 I ordered a boneless combination meal ( main ) along with 3 ounce American burger. I was served by an extremely rude obnoxious female member of staff. Before ordering my food I observed and heard her having a conversation with someone who she knew across the other side of bar standing next to me, foul verbal language was exchanged between both people and I found this totally unacceptable. Not only was I shocked to hear here her use this language, I wouldn't of thought that Wetherspoons would employ somebody that uses foul language while on duty the lady in question also confronted me and asked me what meal I wanted, I pointed to the poster that is advertised that stated ( NEW ) 3oz American burger £4.69 or £599 with a drink she shook her head and had some issues with a dreadful attitude as if I should know what food this is. Her mannerism was completely not acceptable. I also asked who was the manager and this lady manager looked very young comparable to the rude behaviour and staff member. Please understand that it is of paramount importance to have a good attitude and a nice approach when dealing with paying customers. I can honestly say the food was very good value for money at the service is won't let...

Dreadfull staff and customer service. Rude. Unapologetic. Careless.

We had issues with the staff, the food, the drinks and the place as a whole on a night that was supposed to be calm and relaxing.

When this was brought up to the staff members (politely) we were told it was our fault and shoved off. She literally walked away with a huff. When we called to voice our complaint the person on the phone couldn't care less.

I'm surprised this place is still in business.

We sat at a table 2 hours before it was due to be reserved and was rushed off of the table just after we ordered food. When we asked why the lady shoved a piece of paper saying reserved in our face We had plenty of time to finish and leave but was made to feel very unwelcome. The same thing happened to a family next to us also.

On top of that they allow kids to run around and play and jump all over each other next to where you're eating or trying to walk. Some kids from outside actually ran through the restaurant and out of the back door. We have been to countless places with children but this was ridiculous

The whole situation felt like we were at a zoo. It's not even worth it for the cheap food and drinks, it does not counter balance the stress you will get.

Do. Not. Go. Here. 0 STARS. AVOID...

Me and my parents went for breakfast here this morning, it was mostly lovely except we wanted to point out that the beans were cold, this is a real shame, as the rest of the food was absolutely lovely, just slightly ruined by the beans being quite cold.

Despite all of this, it was mostly lovely breakfasts, especially the hash browns and the toast and bacon and the very generous sachets of butter!!! And the waiting staff and bar staff were extremely friendly and the food only took 10/15 minutes to come!!!!!! It's also extremely good value for 3 decent size breakfasts that keep you falling all day and for as many drinks as you want for technically all day as well.

We do absolutely love the Raven and we do come here on a regular basis, especially for the breakfasts, but feel as though it does definitely need to be addressed about the beans, as they have been cold on a good few occasions now, we don't like to complain, as we absolutely love Coming here, but feel like it does definitely need addressing.
