Yannis&Daddy — Restaurant in Liverpool

We wanted to try somewhere new to celebrate a family birthday and were so pleased we booked Yannis and Daddy. The food was outstanding; mum had ribs in orange BBQ sauce as a starter; the pork just fell off the bones, followed by steak as a main which was so tender and cooked to perfection. Dad, brother and sister-in-law had patatas bravas; they were even better than the ones we remember from Spain! followed by really generous sized paellas and carbonara. Nephews demolished the Spanish charcuterie and cheeseboard and four of us had the very tasty burgers and chips. Nana had pate as a starter which she said was delicious. Everything was freshly cooked, beautifully presented and was of excellent quality. Adrian made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in and throughout the meal. He couldn't have done enough for us and it was so lovely to chat with him. He genuinely cares about the food and wants you to have a lovely time and we did! Christina is an excellent chef and there was even a guest appearance from two year-old Yannis himself! The comfy seating, tasteful Spanish decor and music makes you feel like you're in Spain. For absolutely outstanding authentic Spanish tapas served from the heart, there is only one place to go! Thank you Adrian, Christina and Yannis....

Well what can I say …other than amazing !! The food was all home cooked fresh well thought out dishes .. we had fresh warm bread with home made alioli .. meatballs croquettes calamari for starters ( yes we had eyes bigger than our belly ) then steak Manzo penne .. the steak jst melted .. my family had seafood paella .. all washed down with two jugs of lovely sangria .. we had so much food the portions were generous so my dad even got a taste of the pasta and paella when I happily stumbled home .. oh and the owner Adrian made our visit .. he took his time to introduce himself to every single person in the restaurant.. he even taught some customers some Spanish what a guy ! Really enjoyed my meal here! The food was fresh, tasty and full of flavour – exactly what you’d hope for from a Spanish restaurant. Portions were generous without being too much, and everything came out nicely presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a touch of Spanish charm. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a casual dinner, tapas with friends, or even a special evening. Definitely one of those restaurants you want to come back to....
