Albany Tandoori — Restaurant in London

Really bad food, chicken tasted old or reused all the curries tasteless as well it seemed like the sauces were the same really disappointed of what we got after a £65 spend, didn’t send the right curry, wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here. Most of the food we ordered ended up getting chucked away due to taste. Me and my family all had bad stomachs after having just a few bites of the food.

Used to use Albany a lot but seems like the standards have dropped really bad over time. Would advise people to avoid eating food here, me and the family were unwell after 2mins of just having a couple of bites.

I have ordered from this restaurant quite a few times now. The first few orders I was amazed by the food, the delivery was on time, about an hour.

The last few orders have been about a 3hr wait. The first time, I can potentially forgive, it happens, but we had the restaurant on redial for 45 minutes and nobody answered. Due to how much we liked the food we tried again. This time it took 3 hours AGAIN to arrive. We managed to get hold of somebody at the restaurant and no apology, nothing.

Disappointed! Review score was good, so my expectations were high! Service was very friendly. I ordered a takeaway. I was disappointed with the portion size of the starters. 2 starters, which combined for about what I expect from one. Most of the main course was thrown away. I hate onions, so I asked for no onions. When I got it back and opened it, it was covered in onions! Yes, I can take them off, but the chicken now tasted heavily of onions. After eating 2 pieces (tikka), I couldn't eat the rest!
