Albinuta Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in London

I recently visited Albinuta Beehive and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

I clearly indicated what I wished to order even pointing to it on the menu yet the wrong dish was brought out. When I politely raised this with the staff, their response was far from professional. Rather than a simple apology or any attempt at resolution, I was met with visible irritation. My plate was taken away without explanation, and moments later I heard shouting from the kitchen. Eventually, I was informed somewhat ironically that the dish I had originally requested was not even available.

What made this encounter all the more upsetting was the stark contrast in how I was treated compared to my partner, who is white and Lithuanian. As a Black British man, I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated with far less patience. The difference in attitude was undeniable and left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

Dining out should be a pleasant, inclusive experience. Sadly, this was anything but. The lack of basic customer service, combined with what felt like differential treatment based on my background, made for an upsetting and frankly humiliating evening.

I had hoped for a warm and enjoyable introduction to Romanian cuisine, but instead left feeling alienated and insulted. I sincerely hope the management reflects on this, as no guest should be made to feel...

When I stepped in, I thought it was a pub, not a restaurant, not gonna lie.

Went for my friend’s birthday party and it was a disaster there, her phone and my other friend’s phone got stolen(they checked the cameras and they said they don’t have coverage for the area), there were some Moldovan guys that started yelling and fighting, started coming to our party and flirting with the girls and being inappropriate (probably to cover the fact they stole the phones). There was no staff accountability of anything that happened. I do not think it’s normal for such things to happen, especially if you hire a venue where you expect a high level of service, but all you get is disappointment and “I’m not responsible for your things”.

I've been here with a few friends for "International womens Day ". The service and the atmosphere were great, all the ladies present came here to enjoy the music, Romanian food and to have fun. The thing that let us down was the traditional food, which was low quality ( sarmale were cold and not great taste, mici were dry and reheated). The owner of this place needs to understand that, indeed, the music and atmosphere, meeting other Romanians, gets us to come here, but if traditional food would be as good as the atmosphere, this would attract more business, not only occasional events. We would think to come more often to enjoy dinner or to celebrate personal events, birthdays... Overall, I enjoyed the evening. Great vibes,...
