Extremely Disappointing Experience

We booked a table for 8 on Sunday afternoon, hoping for a nice family meal. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but. Upon arrival, we were told food would take longer due to the restaurant being busy. The place was filled with local moto fans, clearly recovering from a rough night, and this included the staff.

It took over 15 minutes just to get our drinks, served by a waitress who didn’t bother hiding the fact that the entire staff—including the kitchen—was hungover. The food arrived in parts, with some of us finishing our meals while others were still waiting. We ordered cake, but it never arrived.

My chicken arrived last, and halfway through eating, I realized it was completely raw. So raw, it could probably have run off the plate! I wanted to complain to the manager, but he was too busy attempting a music career, singing on a makeshift stage. The waitress merely took the plate, without a word of apology, and only agreed to remove it from the bill after I refused to pay for it.

To top it off, we waited over 20 minutes for dessert, which never showed. Meanwhile, the waitress who brought our food was casually smoking and drinking with the moto group, who looked like they had just stumbled out of a questionable party.

In the end, we paid over £200 for what was easily the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. Judging by the unhappy faces at other tables near the “stage,” we weren’t the only ones.

Avoid this place unless you’re into a scruffy pub vibe, poor hygiene, and raw food....

I you are looking for some nice polish food this is the place to go. Portions are decent and nicely arranged on the plate, not only do they look good but they are really tasty. Pub it's self is equipped in small kids playground area which is very nice, and in general I would say the place is child friendly. The staff are really nice and welcoming, however don't get me started on the owners! I never met more welcoming, nice, accommodating people in my life! I honestly have no words to express how amazing the hosts are! They host events and parties on the weekends with a great atmosphere. The minute you walk in there you feel like you are home. I highly recommend...

They helped us with the venue the next day after a rather issue-ridden wedding the day before.

We had around 40 people from different parts of the world, and the cooking in Galicja did blow everybody away. It was that good.

When we compare that to our wedding venue, we kind of regret not knowing that earlier, as the food was on a totally different planet.

Lesson learned: Try different places before you commit to something as crucial as food on the wedding table.
