Asafo African Take Away — Restaurant in London

First time ordering here and did it through Uber Eats. I left a review there but just had to leave a review here! My husband and I ordered (1) Jerk Chicken and (2) African Tomato Stew Chicken both with jollof rice. There were 4 small pieces of jerk chicken with not much meat on the bone or flavour. The stew chicken was mostly oil with spicy taste and minimal flavour (photo doesn't do it justice). It was wrapped in saran wrap and when taken off oil just poured out of closed container. Absolutely disgusting. I've never seen so much oil in African food. The rice was relatively dry and flavourless. Within minutes of us eating we were both on the toilets (which I'm writing this review from). Thank God we got a 50% discount on this order. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

AVOID!! bad bad customer service from the start. Two women was just standing there as I entered and didn’t greet me or anything and kept looking at me as to say I wasn’t supposed to be there. When on of the ladies decide to serve me she wasn’t even polite in the slightest. I asked if they take card she said transfer the payment which was so unprofessional and when I asked if any cash point around she rudely said I don’t know. When I decided to do the transfer, which I shouldn’t have tbh, she left and the other women served me. When I confirmed all done she try say let me see before to know if you done it. So rude I will never use my money...

They deserve a minus rating. Do not spend a coin at this place. I have never had such a bad experience in my life - they made a mistake with the order, charged me over £30 more than he originally told me on the phone and was EXTREMELY rude when politely asked for where the discrepancy was. It’s such a shame when you want to support local black businesses and they lack customer service skills and have unnecessarily rude and foul behaviour. This place needs to be shut down.
