The kids of all ages love the cakes as well. Our children have very English palates so it goes to show that distinguished cakes work for old and young.

Read moreI really don’t like leaving bad reviews for vegan businesses but I can’t ignore how bad the cakes were. All the desserts looked amazing and were well presented, but that’s about it.
The tiramisu was tasteless and the sponge layers were just thick and stodgy.
The Black Forest cake had a slight flavour of cherry but the cake didn’t taste of much, was dry and crumbled. But not a good crumble, it was slightly grainy.
I can’t remember exactly the flavours of the last cake but some were coconut and passion fruit. This one was slightly better and had some flavour but the cake itself was a bit stodgy and just soaked in something or just a very wet cake. It wasn’t a moist fluffy cake though, just wet and stodgy.

I was given a jar of dessert as a gift by a friend and she said it was cheesecake but I think maybe it was a different recipe. The suspiciously super-white cream had a very artificial texture and taste. The chocolate sponge was very dry - maybe too much baking powder? and very unsweet with a strong chemical taste. The chocolate mousse was nice and the caramel sauce also but I had to throw away most of it. The chemical taste lingers into an aftertaste.
