Asif Balti House, Beddington — Restaurant in London

Very, very disappointed. We have eaten in the restaurant lots of times and had many deliveries. Just not up to standard. How can a madras curry be tasteless but it was!!! Food was delivered cold especially the rice and the naan bread was missing. When I phoned I was told deliveries had finished and I would have to come to collect. I asked for a refund for the naan breads but was told this could only be done if I came to the restaurant. I was told that when I next visit I could have a complimentary naan. How can it be complimentary when I had paid for it!!! Even more disappointed that our curries lacked taste and heat and the madras tasted burnt. My balti even had a mouldy taste.....maybe the onions weren't as fresh as they should have been. We have had problems in the past and gave them another chance after a spell away. Needless to say we won't be going back to claim the complimentary, paid for naan they promised. Won't...

If I could give it zero I would. Made an order for collection and got home to find the naan bread burnt, the pilau rice just being plain white rice with red bits, the chicken tikka masala bright red as if food colouring was used, and the butter chicken looking and tasting like a korma. I immediately called them and they were quick to the defense that this is how they make their food. I asked if the burnt naan bread was purposely cooked like that, to which they did apologise and offer to make it again. I told them I would not be making the journey back, and asked what can be done as I think at least a partial refund is reasonable - the person hung up. I called them back and was sent to voicemail. My experience was worth my visit I happy with what I see the manager well considering and accepting my request,the place are very clean,and the most important thing to me is to see that my review are true and honestly I love what I am interested in and is to give people love with my volunteer what I am doing from my heart is to give back to the community,this restaurant is very warm relaxing place so inviting you to enjoying your dining experiences also I see a lot of take a way,so I would like to recommend you to go I travel a lot of restaurants and I see their is a big changes in eating with less salt 🧂 I love that change 2024 too much salt in the foods 2025 things change,thank you all for your feedback Euphemia,Christie,I send my love to eat healthier...
