Lovely park to come and explore with children. Ours love the skate park at the back of the play area - although I would say this probably isn’t suitable for young children as the ramps are concrete.
There’s plenty to do here - two children’s play areas (one for smaller children, abs a larger area with swings for older children); tennis courts; basketball court; football field. There’s also a lot of green space and a lovely path that runs the perimeter of the park which the kids love to ride their bikes or scooters around.
There is an on-site cafe which, at the time of writing (April 2021) is currently only serving takeaway drinks due to COVID-19 restrictions. From what I’ve gathered when we’ve been here, there are no open toilet facilities at present.

There are two different playgrounds, of which one is for smaller children and one is for maybe a bit larger children. They also have a football/basketball and two tennis courts, where it is free to play. It is wonderful to have early morning walks throughout the year, but particularly serene during the early spring season when the trees are springing back to life with new colourful leaves and flowers along the walking tracks.
