This cafe / restaurant is a hidden gem. In the evening the Italian menu is authentic and the atmosphere in this lovely little restaurant is lovely.
One star deducted for the pizza base - it's quite a basic pizza base like salt dough, so while the pizza toppings are lovely, the base lets it down. With another authentic Italian restaurant to compete with down the road (girasole) having a good pizza on offer would make this place amazing.
Tiramisu on the menu is Oreo, which is lovely, but there's no option for normal Tiramisu which was a shame.
Will definitely continue to come to the restaurant, wine list is good, coffee is great, pasta is the best thing...

Just been there and he said he couldn't serve me, as was just closing at 12.30 even though cafe advertised as open and had walked specially over. No apology. Another time he didn't want to serve me and my son lunch as he said he had a big party booked. By the time I was done a man was at the till so I asked if they had any paper towel to dry my hands with.
