Hi this is my second review here and I have to say this India restaurant is the best I have ever been to and the take away service is second to none. The food is well priced. The quality of chicken is amazing. The portion size is incredible. The service in and out is amazing. The food tastes itself is brilliant rich creamy well cooked amazing flavours every time. I have also eaten at this restaurant and the atmosphere is truly fantastic. You can aslo bring your own alcohol and if your child doesn’t eat Indian food you could bring your own. The restaurant itself is a good size and is warm friendly and well lit. The parking is brilliant plenty of spaces around. The staff are really nice I no you can get some staff that are under par but due to the owner/manager being on top of his game there’s no faults and if there was this man would go out of his way to help you as I said professional in every way possible. I have read some reviews on this site and the negative ones I can’t seem to relate to at all. I have never had a bad experience in this place or via the uber eats take away service. Final point the bathroom/s are clean and tidy as should be. And please be assured that if there was any faults with this place people would know about it lol and I have had most dishes and they have all meet my expectations or above them. Right enough praise for this place haha haha I hope this helps new customers try the Belverdere tandoori as I only found it though the review system years ago. Thanks again dean...
Read moreThis place is a complete disaster. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this so-called restaurant/takeaway. If you value your money and your taste buds, don’t even think about ordering here. They claim to serve “authentic Indian food,” but what they deliver is nothing short of an insult to the cuisine. This is as far from real Indian food as you can get. A total waste of money and time - you will regret every penny spent. Avoid at all costs. In response to the restaurant’s reply: Your attitude only proves how little regard you have for your customers. You boast about being in business since 1983, yet in over four decades you’ve failed to grow or expand beyond a single tiny location - that doesn’t show tradition, it shows stagnation. Instead of taking feedback seriously and working to improve, you choose arrogance and dismissal. As for my order: the Matar Paneer was sickly sweet, with no spice or depth of flavour. Even something as basic as Pulao Rice was unforgivable - tainted with artificial green, orange and red colour that is not only unnecessary but harmful. Garlic Mushroom was just as bad: bland, lifeless and completely lacking in seasoning. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been around since 1983 or 1883 - longevity means nothing without quality and a...
Read moreWe stumbled across this restaurant and due to its 5* hygiene rating we thought we would give it a go! It has a bring your own alcohol policy which should make it a cheap evening out! The food was lovely, service was great, everyone was pleasant however, the experience was slightly ruined by the bill. I had ordered a tandoori mixed grill which has always (in other restaurants) come with a small side salad - I asked if it came with any salad and he said No but he could provide some... so I asked for a small bit of lettuce. To be fair he provided exactly what I asked for - a small plate of Shredded lettuce. So when I received the bill to see we had been charged £4.45 for it, I nearly fell through the floor! I couldn't complain as maybe it was my fault for not asking the price at the time, but I just thought it was extremely over priced for what was around 20p worth of lettuce. Other than that, it was great but whatever you do, don't ask...
