This place is shocking. It’s one thing to have extremely watery milkshake and undercooked cookie dough but the staff are also beyond unprofessional. I showed the lady the super runny milkshake so she would change it - she rolled her eyes at me, took it back added biscuits to it, as I was stood there and gave it back.

You should really train your staff, offering a tall glass of milk and calling it a milkshake is a disgrace - then adding biscuits to it to thicken it; so half of it is undrinkable instead of making a new one is beyond me. Let alone having an attitude when someone points it out, making a paying customer uncomfortable, is just ridiculous. Our first and last time at this establishment - no wonder it as empty on a hot summer day, that’s should have been a sign!

*Thank you for your lengthy response. Wow the rudeness, thank you for proving my point :)

The cookie dough is clearly undercooked, non of it is firm and the milkshake was just milk with biscuits that all sat at the bottom (pictures don’t lie). My taste buds are just fine thank you. You might however need to get your eyes checked, if you can’t see what’s right in front of you mate. Cleared the plate and the lies continue, what picture are you looking at, we left both as they were inedible.

Anger management would be...

Disgusting service. As the waitress/ owner handed our dishes she made a remark that ruined the whole meal and atmosphere for all 5 of us.

We walked in with 7 people, two of which wanted a coffee only. Then the other two, went to get coffee elsewhere while the remaining 5 ordered full adult meals and drinks. As the lady was passing the food to us she made a remark of how they turned down customers for us to sit together. Firstly; we had a table of 6. Would’ve added an extra chair at the end to accommodate all 7 if they stayed. So table size wether 5 or 7 remains the same. Secondly; how unprofessional to speak to your good paying customers like this. I have been many times to this place before but never encountered direct contact with this lady, who clearly needs to manage her manners and business a lot better. Saying “ well thanks for that we thought you were 7” shows how greedy and unprofessional this business is.

Needless to say it took over 35 minutes wait for the food to arrive. How disappointing when you try to help a local business out, but the business doesn’t value its customers.

Avoid at all costs if you like having a nice atmosphere...

What a lovely place for a nice brunch. The people there were really nice and soft spoken. They had a great choice of food. Service was really good and welcoming. Felt nice. The ambience felt homely. I had ordered the classic English breakfast which came with a variety of food. There was not a lot but was enough to be satisfied. My partner has the Mediterranean breakfast which came with jam but no butter which was odd. Filo pastry was basic. I also had the Kashmiri pink chai with pistachios which was really nice. Price was ok but overall I...

We had the Full English breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious! The Lahori Breakfast was also a standout, perfect for anyone craving an authentic desi breakfast experience served on a thali. The Blueberry Pancakes were light and flavorful, a great sweet option to round off the meal. The Karak Chai was exceptional and highly recommended for anyone who loves a good, strong chai. Overall, Bistrove is a fantastic spot for both traditional and desi breakfast options, something for everyone.
