Bonsai Espresso Room — Restaurant in London

Came in with my partner as she was offered a coffee and pastry on the house after an experience here with staff not washing hands after petting a dog. Upon arrival the manager seemed very hostile and questioned my partner on the incident, which felt like an interrogation. He then basically accused her of lying about the incident and was very rude and passive aggressive.

We decided to leave without accepting the free coffee (no pastry offered). Would never come back here or recommend it to anyone - staff so rude. My partner has a dog allergy and OCD, so hand washing before prepping food or drink is very important and should be taken seriously - especially after touching dogs. This place has the makings of nice little spot. Good enough treats, creative toasties, good tasting coffee. However they insist on leaving the door wide open. So as I'm sitting trying to enjoy said toastie and / or coffee, I'm bundled up. I might as well go outside. Furthermore, in addition to the wide open door and frozen air coming, Bonsai has decided to blast music. I visited in late november so it was blasting christmas music.
